Terms of Use

Plain-language rules for using HammerTime!. Last updated 3 August 2026.

By using HammerTime! (the website, rankings, check-in tools, classifieds, or the Marshal software), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What this is

HammerTime! is a community lap-time board for Le Mans Ultimate in the Cayman Islands. It is for recreation and local ranking. It is not an official FIA, ACO, or publisher results service.

2. Use at your own risk

You use HammerTime! at your own risk. We may be unavailable, slow, or wrong. Lap times, rankings, “verified” status, and profiles can be incomplete, delayed, corrected, or removed. We are not liable for lost times, disputes about who was fastest, PC or game problems, or any loss from using the site or Marshal.

3. Accounts, handles, and cards

You are responsible for the handle you register and for keeping your membership card / token private. Do not share QR cards or tokens publicly. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, impersonate others, or cheat.

4. Laps and rankings

Home-rig laps may stay unverified until an organizer reviews them. Studio / trusted rigs are treated as more authoritative, but no telemetry capture is perfect. Organizers may verify, flag, correct, or delete laps when something looks wrong. Cheating, tooling that falsifies times, or gaming the board may get laps and accounts removed.

5. Marshal software

The Marshal is optional software you install on your own Windows race PC. Download it only from HammerTime!. It reads Le Mans Ultimate shared-memory data and can sync car setups or control / wheel profiles when you ask it to. You choose to run it; we are not responsible for game crashes, corrupted settings, hardware issues, or anything else that happens on your PC.

6. Classifieds

Classifieds are peer-to-peer ads only. HammerTime! does not sell gear, hold money, or guarantee buyers or sellers. You arrange contact, payment, and pickup yourself. Be careful with scams. We may remove ads that are illegal, misleading, or abusive.

7. Your content and conduct

Do not post illegal content, harassment, malware links, or other people’s private data. Do not attack or overload the service. Do not scrape or misuse membership or rig secrets (card tokens, rig keys, organizer passwords).

8. Personal data

We store what you give us to run the board — for example handle, display name, optional email, lap data, and profile files you save. Contact details you put on a classified ad are public on that ad. Do not submit information you are not happy to have associated with your racing identity.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we revise this page.

10. Contact

Questions about the league or these terms: reach the organizers through your usual HammerTime / Cayman sim racing channels.
